As one of the first root server providers on the German market, we are now offering you an integrated virtualization solution for all current root server products.
The main advantage of our product expansion is that the pre-installed virtualization solution is offered for all current root server products and thus also for you as our existing customers. There is no need to rent a special server at significantly higher costs, but any root server can be converted into a virtual server host system at favorable conditions
As a virtualization technology, we rely on Virtuozzo from Parallels. We decided on this solution because we have been using Virtuozzo as a virtualization technology for our virtual servers for over 8 years and our technical team has a lot of know-how.
For each root server, you can choose one of four available packages. In the smallest package you can create 3 virtual servers. The costs for this, including the setup, the license for Virtuozzo and three external IP addresses, are a low 19,99 euros per month. The largest package already includes 30 virtual servers at a price of 59,99 euros per month.
After ordering via www.webtropia.com, also as an existing customer, a completely pre-installed virtual server host system is handed over with the provision of the root server. You can then connect directly to the host system via the convenient PVA (Parallels Virtual Automation) web interface and create your own virtual server with just a few mouse clicks. You can currently choose between the following pre-installed templates:
CentOS 5 (64-bit) + Plesk 10.3
CentOS 6 (64-bit)
Debian 6.0 (64-bit) + Plesk 10.3
openSUSE 11.4 (64-bit) + Plesk 10.3
Ubuntu 10.04 (64-bit) + Plesk 10.3
Plesk can be installed directly and automatically as an administration tool for the virtual server. There are particularly favorable conditions for using Plesk on a virtual server, for example a 30-domain license can be booked for EUR 3,00.
In the future we plan to offer other virtualization technologies preinstalled with the root servers in addition to Virtuozzo. So you can decide for yourself which solution you want to use to carry out a virtualization.
With kind regards,
